Retired Frameworks Archive

These dossiers track frameworks that were replaced with something better, deliberately paused, or continued privately. They remain visible for provenance and continuity so readers can see how ideas evolved and where the active work now lives.

Why some frameworks retire

Each framework begins as an exploration. When risks, scope, or technology shift, the responsible path is to retire the early drafts: sometimes by replacing them with stronger successors, sometimes by stopping work entirely, and other times by continuing privately when oversight or sensitivity demands it. This archive outlines those transitions so readers and reviewers understand how the lineage evolved.

Retirement does not erase the work—structured data, risk notes, and field feedback inform the replacements listed below. If you need deeper context for audit or research, contact me to coordinate a controlled review, including for items pursued in private.

Catalog of retired frameworks

Each card summarizes whether the concept was replaced, paused, or taken private—and where its core ideas migrated.

Black Hole-Origin Cosmological Model (Archived 2025 Edition)

The 2025 BHO dossier is retained here for historical context while the framework is rewritten with refreshed sources and clearer governance notes.

  • Reason: Superseded by an active rewrite that updates the cosmological argument and aligns governance documentation.
  • Successor: Black Hole-Origin (current build in progress).
  • Status: Archived for provenance; the preserved edition lives at /frameworks/bho/old.
